By booking a trip with Ocean Escape Adventures ("we", "us", "the Company"), the customer ("you", "the Guest") agrees to the following terms.
1. Booking, Payment & Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit via the agreed payment method. The remaining balance is due before departure.
- All prices are quoted in AED (UAE Dirham). Any figures shown in other currencies (e.g. USD) are approximate references only; your bank or card issuer determines the final conversion rate and any applicable fees.
- Package durations are as stated on our website. The Boat Pick-Up & Drop package operates on demand and its return timing depends on availability at the time of your call-back request; delays are possible during busy periods.
- Weekday discounts (where advertised) apply only to the days specified and exclude public holidays.
2. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Weather
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled trip start time are eligible for a full refund (100%).
- Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled trip start time are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled trip start time are non-refundable, except where the trip is cancelled by Ocean Escape Adventures (e.g. due to weather — see below).
- A booking may be transferred to a different date or lead Guest free of charge if requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled trip start time.
- Transfer requests made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled trip start time may incur an administrative fee of up to 50% of the booking value.
- Transfer requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled trip start time cannot be accommodated.
- If sea or weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the Captain, or the trip cannot proceed due to a mechanical issue, marina or port authority restriction, or other circumstance beyond our reasonable control, Ocean Escape Adventures will contact the Guest to reschedule to the next available date at no additional cost, or issue a full refund.
- In the rare event the Captain must return to port early due to a genuine safety, medical, or mechanical emergency, the trip is considered completed and no partial refund applies.
- The lead Guest must provide a valid, contactable mobile number at the time of booking. We will attempt to call this number if you have not arrived by your scheduled departure time.
- A Guest who fails to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and the booking will be forfeited without refund.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
3. Guest Conduct & Captain's Authority
- The Captain has final authority over all matters of safety, route, timing, and suitability of activities at any point during the trip.
- The Captain may terminate a trip early, without refund, if a Guest's behavior endangers the safety of themselves, other guests, or the crew.
- All Guests must comply with safety instructions given by the Captain at all times, including the mandatory wearing of life jackets during water sports and swimming activities.
4. Group Size, Age & Health
- The Guest making the booking (the lead Guest) must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to accept these Terms on behalf of their group.
- All Guests must carry valid photo identification (Emirates ID or passport) and present it if requested prior to boarding.
- Each trip is strictly limited to a maximum of 7 guests plus the Captain.
- Children of all ages are welcome; life jackets are provided for all ages, and children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
- Expectant mothers are not permitted on board at any stage of pregnancy, for safety reasons.
- Guests must disclose, prior to boarding, any medical condition or health issue that may be affected by boating, sun exposure, or water sports activities — including but not limited to epilepsy, dizziness or fainting conditions, diabetes, heart conditions, recent surgery, and back or spine conditions.
- Non-swimmers are welcome aboard but must disclose this prior to participating in swimming or water sports activities so that appropriate precautions can be taken.
5. Alcohol & Prohibited Items
- No alcohol is permitted on board at any time.
- The following are strictly prohibited on board: illegal substances, weapons of any kind, glass containers, and open flames other than equipment provided by Ocean Escape Adventures for BBQ service.
- Ocean Escape Adventures reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate a trip if prohibited items are found.
6. Liability & Assumption of Risk

- Boating, swimming, fishing, and water sports activities carry inherent risks. Participation in all activities is voluntary and undertaken at the Guest's own risk.
- To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Ocean Escape Adventures' liability for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in trip activities is limited as set out by applicable law.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UAE law.
7. Personal Belongings & Damage
- Ocean Escape Adventures is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings brought on board.
- Guests are liable for any damage to the boat, equipment, or safety gear caused by their misuse, negligence, or reckless behavior, and may be charged for repair or replacement costs.
8. Photography & Media
- Ocean Escape Adventures may take photographs or video during trips for use in marketing materials, including our website and social media.
- Guests who do not wish to be included may notify us in writing before the trip begins, and reasonable efforts will be made to exclude them from published media.
9. Personal Data & Amendments
- By booking with us, you consent to Ocean Escape Adventures collecting and using your name, contact details, and booking information to manage your reservation, respond to enquiries, and — where you have not opted out — share occasional offers and updates.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Information is used solely for booking management, customer support, and (where permitted) marketing communications.
- Ocean Escape Adventures may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of booking applies to that booking.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms or from a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
